Birthday Party Favor

For the past 2 weeks, I've been so busy between my work and sewing projects preparing birthday party favor for my youngest daughter (or perhaps I should just call it birthday favor since there is no party, just handing out gift bags to her friends at school).

For her birthday now, I didn't give any candies or cookies since it's fasting month and I also wanted to give something they can play with and a bit more durable too.

So, after a quick search on Pinterest,  here's what I came up with.

Favor bag filler

For the filler, there are play dough, coloring book (Because I can't find little coloring book, so I made my own little animal princess coloring book. I got the printables in education.com), pencil (It supposed to be colored pencils but I can't find one that I wanted and I didn't have much time to look for it) and hand sewn hand puppet

Animal hand puppet

I got the pattern for these hand puppet from Just Another Day in Paradise.(Actually there are 8 animals but I only made 5 of them)

The envelope goodie bag

My daughter loves to pretend she is a postman. She sometimes makes letters and pretends delivering them to me and her brother and sister. So, I thought it would be a good idea to make an envelope bag to put those filler in.

I got this idea from here

The letters are ready to deliver

It was really a hard work since they all were handsewn yet I did enjoy it imagining the smiles of her friends when they receive these.

The birthday girl

Happy birthday my lovely daughter! Mommy loves you so much.

Have a nice day!
